Specialty Consultants, the leading search firm in the real estate industry, is seeking a Leasing Associate to join our client, one of the largest privately-held industrial real estate investment platforms in the country. Based in the Chicago area, the Leasing Associate will play a key role in leading the leasing function for select industrial markets in the Midwest.
Involvement Includes:
- Negotiating new leases and renewals
- Establishing strong broker and tenant relationships
- Developing and implementing the asset management strategy for the portfolio
- Preparing market leasing assumptions (MLAs) for annual budgets
- Executing comprehensive leasing plans to maximize rent
- Visiting properties/markets to keep constant contact with tenants, brokers, and vendors
Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of real estate experience, an ability to connect with people, and a desire to grow their careers in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
