Our client, a premier investment firm specializing in commercial real estate, is seeking a skilled Asset Manager to join their growing team and drive portfolio performance across their industrial holdings.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a dynamic team focused on maximizing investment returns and creating long-term value through strategic asset management. You will play a pivotal role in portfolio optimization, working directly with investors and cross-functional teams to execute comprehensive investment strategies from acquisition through disposition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Strategy & Market Analysis
- Create comprehensive business strategies that position assets competitively in their respective markets
- Execute value-creation initiatives for existing properties and evaluate new investment opportunities
- Lead annual budget development and monitor performance against established benchmarks
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Tenant & Leasing Management
- Evaluate lease economics using NPV analysis and market comparisons
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants
- Collaborate with brokerage teams on marketing strategies and lease negotiations
- Assess tenant creditworthiness and monitor portfolio risk
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Build and maintain detailed property valuation models and cash flow projections
- Develop comprehensive pro-formas for assets across all lifecycle stages
- Provide analytical support for key decisions including hold/sell analysis and capital improvements
- Track performance metrics and benchmark against industry standards
Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare comprehensive reports for internal teams and external investors
- Lead quarterly and annual reporting processes including investor communications
- Create detailed investment memorandums and performance summaries
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Transaction & Project Oversight
- Support acquisition transitions and due diligence processes
- Coordinate with property management and leasing teams for optimal asset positioning
- Oversee capital projects including construction budgeting and loan administration
- Manage disposition processes and refinancing initiatives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related discipline
- 7+ years in commercial real estate with focus on investment management or asset optimization
- Strong preference for industrial real estate background and multi-asset class experience
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
